UK web users have never been at greater risk of internet scams and inappropriate content. For example, the number of phishing web sites grew by around 65 per cent in December 2005, according to the Anti-Phishing Working Group, while the number of websites found to be offering child pornography to UK internet users increased by 75 per cent in 2005, according to recent figures released by the Internet Watch Foundation.
