The term “Managed Services” can be applied to many deployment scenarios, anything from a straight forward basic maintenance contract, to a fully managed, monitored and controlled network, without customers having even known an issue was about to become a reality or resulting in a support call having to be made. Imtech already offer these services, which are growing at a phenomenal rate to support our customers.

Customer demand is driving the requirement for the Service Provider to provide SLA management. This capability is now within the Imtech Connect portfolio, namely The Security Threat Resource Manager (STRM), Junipers’ recently announced addition to the Security Layered Technology product range. This now addresses the challenges of SLA measurement and control. Portal based services can be enabled for the end customer for self generation, as and when the Service Provider extends this service through their own managed service contracts.

After extensive research, Imtech realise this is a demand coming from the Enterprise community and is very recognised by the Service Provider as a differentiated managed service. Customers are willing to pay for such services and Imtech can now make this a reality.

Our latest addition to this portfolio is an end to end network security management solution that enables your operations staff to quickly and easily analyse data from a multitude of sources to understand the threats within a full or partial UTM solution and most importantly determine what actions to take, STRM.
The Security Threat Response Manager family of products include scalable systems that cater for small, medium and large enterprises or departments that won’t need to upgrade to higher events-per-second or flows-per-minute capacities. The carrier-class products also cater for delivering scalable network security management for medium-sized companies up to large, globally deployed organisations that will need additional flow and event monitoring capacity in the future.
